Knights News · Lady Knights’ Beginning of the Golf Season

Coach Murman commented on the season opener for the Lady Knights,” While I wanted to use this first tournament as an opportunity to get our feet wet. It turned into a full-body immersion. Indian Trails played very difficult today around the greens and our putters got a workout. The girls experienced how hard golf can be. They kept their heads in it most of the day and I’m proud of them for that. I gave the girls 10 minutes to feel bad about how hard it was and now we are ready to learn from it, move on and attack the rest of the season.”
Lily Bojanski placed 7th at the Indian Trails course at the West Point-Beemer Invitational.
The Lady Knights placed second in the Arlington Triangular against Arlington and Bennington. Lily Bojanski placed 6th and Jocelyn Kumm placed 7th. The Lady Knights’ improved their team score as compared to their first tournament at Indian Trails. The Lady Knights will be at Wahoo on Tuesday, September 3rd.
